League schedule and hall training, sorted
The coach of a women's team at a club in Yorkshire receives the fixture list by email every season — an ICS file from the federation, sometimes only days before the season starts. On top of that: hall training, friendlies, and club evenings.
Previously she typed every home and away match into a group chat and hoped nobody kept the wrong date in mind. RSVPs went through WhatsApp messages that quickly got buried. Before important matches she chased people individually — time-consuming and frustrating for everyone.
With Spielzeit Ninja she imports the calendar file in seconds. All matches appear as events — with date, time, and optionally the hall name. Weekly hall training is set up as a series: Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 pm, configured once for the whole season.
Before each match the players open the app and see at a glance who's coming. Anyone who can't make it declines directly on the event — no extra message needed. The coach keeps overview without constantly chasing people. After the season she exports attendance history for the board report.
